About Pousada Alto das Colinas
Pousada Alto das Colinas is in Dores do Rio Preto, on the Espírito Santo side of Caparaó National Park — the region of Pico da Bandeira, Brazil's third-highest peak. Ten suites in a mountain house surrounded by gardens and araucaria trees, with the range rising right behind it. Even in summer the small hours are cold here: every suite has heated sheets, and breakfast — included in the rate — is there for early risers heading up the peak and for those who'd rather watch the mist roll down the valley, unhurried.

Two floors and 10 suites, all with a double bed, minibar, TV, fan and heated sheets. Five are on the ground floor, with no stairs, and five upstairs, where Cedro and Colinas have balconies and the Araucária, the suite of the house, has a hot tub.
Breakfast, included in every rate, is served from 7:30 to 10:00 am. Parking is included as well, and the inn has Wi-Fi and mobile coverage.

The yellow house sits on the Estrada do Parque (highway ES-495), in São Raimundo da Pedra Menina, a district of Dores do Rio Preto, surrounded by gardens and araucaria trees with the Caparaó range right behind. The Pedra Menina gate of the national park is 1.5 km away; Casa Queimada, the trailhead for Pico da Bandeira, is a 9.9 km drive — about 23 minutes.
